DO NOT cut hte metal out.....i dont have the pass airbag....there is enough room to get the wire around there

I have a passenger air bag. Although I did drill a hole, that was through the firewall and if I had picked a different spot it would have been unnecessary. Still enough room for 2ga.

Who here who has that annoying metal piece there ran the wires through there how woudl u get your hand on the other side of that? Also it restricts me from easily removing the air mix actuator and fixing my AC

I pushed my power wire in from the engine compartment. after 30 seconds of wiggling and pushing the power wire was actually touching the floor. So I didn't need to reach up there. You will need to remove the plastic pannel that goes above the passengers feet.
