Unless you have a reason to change out your headunit (like not having a CD player in the first place) I would suggest getting a MP3 player and then one of those little units that broadcasts the headphone signal over a FM station.

But $500!!!!
Well, I def wouldn't pay $500 for a factory radio.
But maybe one would be cheap on ebay. I was just curious if it would physically work. It looks like it'* the same size (2 din?).
