Any sub will pound if its in a custom box, designed specifically for the sub your using. Even a piece of crap sub will sound good in a custom built box designed for it.

There is more to it than just the sub you choose.

I agree %100 here. I have seen a pair of crappy 8" subs POUND like mad in a custom box, and a pair of 15" subs sound like crap with little bass even with a ton of power in a ready - made box. Box design is a HUGE factor with how the sub will sound. ANY Q Logic box will work ( or any other ready - made brand ), but a custom box designed to the specs on the sub will make WORLDS of difference. MUCH louder, clearer, harder hitting bass out of a properly designed box

Totally agree. A local buddy of mine has the Durabrand (Walmart crap) doing upper 130'* with EXCELLENT sq, all due to the box he built for it.

I LOVE THEM FOSGATES THEY ARE LOUD AS HELL. BUT SCREW THE L5 GET A L7 THEY ARE WAY BETTER I HAD TWO OF THEM
