new system need opions - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

what is the RMS of that amp and the speakers? I think that thoes pioneers have a low RMS so be careful. Are you going to bridge the amp?

yeah watch out for both

there generously over rating there equipment

Pioneer is the king of doing it besides Pyramid

it will say max 1000watts - RMS 150 watts LOL

not doggin your stuff cause I am a firm believer in the "Its All In The Install" theory...

doesnt have to be good stuff to sound good..

but as 1993SLE said watch those numbers

We all have to start off somewhere. I hope you happy with it and best of luck! Just like ibanezcollector said "Its All in the Install", it doesn't have to be greatest stuff to sound good - but it does make it easier.
