i just got a power akoustic 960watt 4 channel amplifier and two 500 watt pioneer'* to start off my system what do u guys think?

amp= 225 watt per channel

subs= 125 rms

pretty close to my first system

400 watt power acoustik 2 channel
2 12" 450 watt pioneer IMPP

great to mess around with for a starter system

what is the RMS of that amp and the speakers? I think that thoes pioneers have a low RMS so be careful. Are you going to bridge the amp?

yeah watch out for both

there generously over rating there equipment

Pioneer is the king of doing it besides Pyramid

it will say max 1000watts - RMS 150 watts LOL

not doggin your stuff cause I am a firm believer in the "Its All In The Install" theory...

doesnt have to be good stuff to sound good..


but as 1993SLE said watch those numbers

We all have to start off somewhere. I hope you happy with it and best of luck! Just like ibanezcollector said "Its All in the Install", it doesn't have to be greatest stuff to sound good - but it does make it easier.
