Nice work though. I have to get a new HU because my current one only has one set of preamps and that'* running my amp which is running my interior speakers. It sounds amazing, just not a lot of bass. It'* clear as day and will make your ears bleed though.

Once I get that I'm gonna be looking for a nice punchy shallow mount 10" sub to fill in the bottom end and not take up too much room in the trunk.

Nope. I don't want that kind of stuff in my car. I sold the DVD player my car came with for that reason. I'm just gonna buy the cheapest eXceleon that I found on Sonic Electronix. Just sucks that it'* blue backlit now.

Box space wins. I have an IDMax10. Gets plenty loud and definitely an SQL sub. Box is only .9 cubic feet.

what are the measurements of the box?
im running 2 13tw5, box is being made as W34xH14.25 and depth is 9 botton and 7 top (splits in the middle as 2 separate chambers). i think this should total .80 cubic ft each chamber

Those JL / series amps are awesome. One of my all time favourites aside from the beast that I'm running.

yea im loving it so far, but because of the regulated power supply and rails it wont make much more than rated power. Clamped might do 1100rms, MAYBE, however the reliability, attention to detail and quality is bar none.
One will do rated power from 1.5-4ohms from 12v up to 14.5+ very few amps will do that

I will be the first to say JL equipment is TOOO expensive but when u dont spend a dime on it, You LOVE it. lol.

If i was going to buy new i would never buy JL. They spend so much on advertising, R&D, ect that theyre products r retarded overpriced. FOR EXAMPLE: the W7! $700+ for a 13W7, REDICULIOUS! why spend that much money when u can spend half the amount on a DD, Fi, Sundown, ect that will beat a 13W7 in SQ and SPL? and u can order a Fi with whatever options u want, its hand built, greater attention to detail, better tech support, and U can get a 15" Fi for half the price of a 13W7.
Same goes for my JL 1000/1, never would i spend that kinda money on this thing new when i can buy a SA1500D, AQ1200d, Treo, DD, ect ect ect for several hundred less.

But JL does make quality stuff, the best of "mainstream" equipment
