Default New 5-1/4

About to buy me some new 5-1/4'* for the front speakers. What do you guys suggest? I was looking at the Infinity 5 1/4" Component Speakers (5000CS)
and the Kicker 5 1/4" Speakers (KS52)

get a component set, there are many out there and everyone has there own opinions on what is better, you have to go asd listen to some sets if you can, and then make ajudgement from there

that is the best advice that i can give to ya

It all depends on what kind of sound you like. Go to a local audio store and take a listen to what all they have. Your ears, your opinions.

So true. I just hooked up my cheap Alpine Type * 2-way 5-1/4'* to my Orion and they sound 100 times louder, crisper, and I'd almost have to say cleaner than running just off the deck.
Sadly though I had to disconnect the Orion from the Alpine'* and hook the amp back up to my Infinity 12.3SE sub.
What really ticks me off is the JVC amp is blown that I had running my sub before I got the Orion. Ticks me off -I thought maybe it was just underpowering my sub causing the buzzing, but it turns out it sounds the same way coming through the little 5-1/4 Alpine'*. I really want to kick the kids bu++ that I paid $45 to for the JVC. No wonder he was so willing to let it go so quick on my first offer, but on the other amp he he had he wouldn't budge on the price. I will definitely ask him about it the next time I see him -he did act very skittish when I was dealing with him.
