Need some amp help
My Kenwood amp (http://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/pr...?productId=449) is running in a Protection Mode. Does anyone know how or if I can "reset" the amp somehow?
These were the possible problems:
-A speaker wire may be short-circuited.
-A speaker output may be in contact with the ground.
-The temperature of the internal parts may be higher than 120° C (248° F)
-The fuse of this unit may be blown.
-The unit may be malfunctioning and sending DC signal to the speaker output.
The only one that makes sense is the bottom one, all other possibilities I've been able to eliminate.

You might have an internal problem.... did you buy it off line? and how long did you run it before this happend.... do you have a warranty? I would go have someone take a look at the inside of it, if that doesnt void your war. If so I would send it in. Also you might have the + in the - and the - in the +..... that would cause it
I probably will take it to Fast Track in Bloomington to get it looked over. Everything was connected to the right spot.
Right now I got my speakers on a 2 ohm load off the other amp so I still have some music.

hey....just thought of something...check your ground...make sure that its on there good...turn on the system and wiggle the ground a little and see if it turns on...also check your inline fuse!
