Default Mystery plug. Please help

Can any body please tell me what the 4th skinny plug is on the back of the factory hu? I am swapping out the delco and my harness adaper kit came with the extra (power?) plug, which the new deck doesn't have, should these be paired with something in the 12 pin harness? :?:

dont worry about it, as far as I know, only 3 of the 4 plugs are used

Ahh, then you have the old style plug on the 87. If you are talking about the small 2 prong one, yes it'* the power for the radio.

the harness has what looks like a +/gnd etc in the black plug, i hooked up w/o the odd plug but no power, deck was benched

Im unclear as to whether i should splice into power on blagk plug, i cant NOT use black plug (rem,acc)
