Default Mounting a 21" lcd in a bonneville

or any Hbody for that matter, how feasable is this. I am probably getting a 21" monitor that is used and scratched..etc.. but it is still useable, thought putting it in the car using the svideo in would make a sweet entertainment system. probably hard to do the mount tho...

its a samsung 214t..about 1.5" deep.....

what do you guys think?

Personally, I wish I had a 21 inch that I could use for my real computer

I would go with a 15-17" touch screen if I were to ever install one in my car. The size would work so much better

well my opinion is that that is really big and its annoying because it blocks your vision behind you when you try to look backwards or use your rearview mirror. my 10.4 is bad enough i couldnt even imagine a 21. realisticly you have to think about viewing area, will the screen be too close since it is so big. Do a lot of placements and actually use it and see what the best location. I dont know now you will fold it up or how hard it would be to remove, but I am sure you will not always want it there. A little big unless you are doing a custom showcar, but you can work it in there. You will denfinatley want to plan things out and try it before you go through with it. I will admit it is cool, but i thought my flipdown 10.4 was cool and it really bothers me if i couldnt fold it up when i wanted. I would definately like to see how you decide to mount this thing.
