Default MB Quart subs?

There'* a few models that look nice, i'd be looking at a 4ohm DVC (parallel to 2ohm) 12" driver.

Any thoughts on them? I'm selling my 2 10" JL'* this weekend.

MB Quart subs are so so at best..

There products unless you get the uber expensive components havent been good in a long time.

And they were bought out by Fosgate and they have since all left an reformed under a new name.. So that shows ya what Fosgate did to there name LOL..

Anything else for $100-$150 12" around 400w RMS @ 2ohm that would work well?

lake a look at the Fosgate P3 subs, you can pick up a pair (2 subs) brand new for around 250 and cheaper

Hey Jason....what are you after? More bass? If so then ya a 12" will certainly help in that department. I'm sorry to read the comments about MBQ....They used to be very high end...oh well!

1 single 12". I don't want rockford, especially that quality.

I'm stepping up from (well mediocre) JL

I never knew ED was that cheap....

I want deeper bass and bass that'* more controlled. The 10'* were a 4ohm system so i was only able to put half my output into them, they were also getting sluggish. Something that hits down 25-30 hz like my hi fi sub would be nice.

My plan is to build a sealed box for a 12" driver, amp rack, and probably battery relocation back there.
