Looking for subs?? - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Thats some good info. Im probly goining with one 12. What about treo? The only reason i dont get the one that you reccomend is because i dont have a liscence right now and it would be a real pain for me to try to get a ride to get box materials and everything like that. I have already had the 2 15s setup and i want something different, so im going with sq.

i had 2 of these subs back in the day.... i would recommend a sealed 1.25 cubic foot box (per sub) and at least 500 watts RMS to each sub. in rockford amps, a bd500 would do fine, but a bd1000 would do a lot better. these subs are pretty power hungry, and not GREAT on SQ....but definately BANG......my spoiler on my old cavalier flexed in the middle and the back cushion of the rear seat pushed out about 4 inches on big bass hits
