Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Look what I just ordered!

Default Look what I just ordered!

Kicker 100w rms amp for stock car stereos. Was originally offered as an upgrade to the OEM stereo as part of a $500 package.
Hooks up just using a constant source, ground and Hi level inputs (rear speakers)
100w rms @ 1 ohm
Class D
$9.99! So I bought 2 of em. might be useful to have lying around

Be careful cause that amp has a 150 Hz @ 12 dB/octave fixed low pass filter.

I wonder what they're rated for at 4 ohms or 2 ohms.

would be great in a leased or new vehicle with a 400w max 12" sub in a space saving box, Stealth Mode!

See above. Built in low pass filter.

If you wanted to do your sub idea, you'd use some of these:

Two might be good for a midbass driver, but there isn't any way to set the gain. Kind of a turn off.

I called PartsExpress. They're rated at 50W @ 2 ohms and 25W @ 4 ohms.

No its not. Mine is a mono amp, for one channel. Yours is a stereo amp, for two channels. The one I posted is also $15.

Look at the wires coming out of them; they're different.
