Wiring question...
I got some factory Bose speakers (thanks SSsuperchargedEi, did you get my PM??).
The AC Delco 6x9'* have 4 wires going into them. The Bose 6x9'* have 2. However, then have the same connector. I plugged them up, and they sound great, but what do I do with the extra two wires? Should I splice them into the other two, respectively? Just leave them be? What?

Do you have too much bass? Does adjusting the gain switch do anything? If it does, you are hooked up to the wrong two wires. You don't want to go through that bass amp for full range speakers.

As far as the amp is conderned and the gain switch, in all honesty, I have no idea what'* going on.
The head unit is a Monsoon from a 2001 Camaro. I looked behind the dash, and there is a little 1" x 3" (appr.) box behind the gain switch, then some wires from the radio to a circuit board that'* just kinda laying loose, and, I believe it'* connected to the gain switch, but the switch doesn't seem to make any difference in the sound.
So, I dunno... :?
