I found one of these in a local used store for $230+ tax. THey sell on ebay brand new for about the same price. (obvously Ide rather buy new) But has anyone had any experience with this brand? I am expecting to pay around 300 for a good amp for my sub.
I've been pretty impressed with their products. My first amp in fact was a Lanzar, and just recently, they put out a competition sized amp for only $700, and it was rated rather well.
I have a 4 channel from them right now its a vibe 438 it is a pretty nice amp. but as far as the one your buying $230 is a bit to much for a used one try here it is a pretty good site and another plus it is new

I don't know if I'm too late or not, but the only good Lanzar amps that I've heard of would be the Optidrive series. Pretty much you get what you pay for, for $200 you can get a lot, but don't expect a true 2000 watts for that price tag.
i know back in the day lanzar aamps and subs where the sheet... however now i dont think they are realy high quality anymore... however you can get a high power amp for a nice penny!!! its worth a shot.. i would try it... but my self im STILL stuck on kicker and alpine... and both have went downhill for the most part in the past few yrs...

You can calculate the approximate wattage of an amp by the fuse size(*) that are used. An amp cant produce 2000 watts if its only drawing 500. I am only running one sub with it so Im not too worried about having super high power. I am more concerned with reliability.
what sub are you planning to use with it? Maybe we can find some more options for you... I would not trust Lanzar, i have never heard anything GOOD about them myself, but i also have not heard alot of bad either

Im going to use one of my Infinity Reference 1230W (not Kappa). 300W rms, 4 ohm single VC. Im looking at a 2 channel so I can bridge it and run 4 ohms. Later I am going to play around with both 12s in an isobaric alignment. For that i will look for a mono amp that I can load to 2 ohms. Like I said before I am trying to spend under 300. TRYING lol
I was wondering the same thing. If you only plan on running subs with said amp, go mono. Something like this would fit the bill very well http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-ZX750-1-C...QQcmdZViewItem
