Default Just got 6x9'* and I'm not happy!

I just got my speakers from UPS, and the wires that supposedly come with them according to the instructions and according to the box, are NOT in the box. The screws and washers are, but not the wires. WTF!!!

Where can I get the right wires? (Pioneer TS-A6980R) Thanks.

you could always chop the plug off the existing wires and solder it back on when selling the car.

Yeah, the speaker wire. Supposed to be two wires, 12" long with connectors on the ends like you said. I emailed IkeSound and told them what happened, if they don't send me wires then I'll just get them from someone else. I'm not installing them any time soon so it'* not a huge deal. But if they say wires included, there should be wires included

Thanks zzzzeke, I'll look into some better speaker wire most likely.

Keep bugging them. get an email from them confirming the wires have been sent.

ikesound was great for me. everything included and very timely. i'm sure they'll be happy to send you the wire. but i'd still go with some monstercable or similar speaker wire.

hey bonnie94sse? what are you going to run these 6x9s off neways?? u really shouldn't need extra speaker wire if you're hooking them up to the deck.

u could either chop the plug off the factory wiring or taking some speaker wire with barrier spades on them and jam em into the factory plugs.

good times

Man that sucks that they didn't send you the wires.... but 1983 is right... you can get good speaker wire just about anywhere.

I'd email them and tell them they didn't send the wire, but if I was in a hurry to get he 6x9'* in I'd just go buy some wire.

Or you can just hook up the factory speaker wire to it.
