IPod connection...

Anybody used this product...I would like to put it in my 2000 SSEi but want to make sure it will work. I am already having problems with my FM reception and was wondering if this would even work unless I correct the reception problem first? Thanks for all your input or other solutions as well!

Ok, no one gonna help me out here. There has to be someone that knows about this device. My Son-In-Law just put it in his Kia Spectra but he had some error numbers that he needed to get cleared before it would work so I never got to hear the quality. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks,
Mac

IIRC it'* pretty expensive, but it'* damn cool with the screen and controls.
I prefer a more hard-wired approach to iPod integration, many products out there are able to splice into factory CD changer inputs on a stereo, and have a clean input that way.
FM transmitters never worked well with my Rockford Fosgate HU, and OEM antenna setup. A modulator was a little better, but It wasn't *good* IMHO.
I would point you at the denison ICE Link, but their website is down right now.

It is likely that you will be dissatisfied with the sound quality of the FM link to the head unit. I have read way too many complaints about the FM transmitters and I avoided this completely. There are line level outputs for this unit but if you have a factory radio, you do not have the appropriate inputs.
I didn't see a price on the link you provided, but I wouldn't buy it for the above reasons.
I am currently working on getting my iPod to work with my factory head unit. I have a PAC iPAC-OEM that I am using. It is intended for connection through the CD Changer harness. My car doesn't have this wiring so I am adding it (sort of). When it is completed, I will be able to control the iPod through the head unit and steering wheel controls.
