Default Interior Lighting Fluctuation after Stereo/Remote Start

Just had a remote start and stereo installed into my 00 SSEi. Now I have an interior lighting fluctuation. It doesn't do it all of the time just occasionally. I have changed the courtesy/illumination switch to no avail. Has anyone else ever run into this? At first I thought it may have been a dimmer issue when hooked up to the new stereo, but the alpine unit has it'* own light sensor. I guess something else could have coincidentally messed up at the same time as the install but it seems unlikely. Has anyone else had dimmer issues like this? Maybe a component I'm not familiar with, being new to Bonnevilles and all. Thanks for any help.

This may be related to where they derived power from to install these. Do you know if power connections were run to one of the fuse blocks or battery, or did they attempt to tap power from within the harness somewhere? Much of the wiring in the 2K+ has been scaled back gauge wise and is certainly adequate for its intended function, but adding additional draw to some of these circuits may be your problem.

Thanks. I'll check in to that. I believe all of the "stereo" wiring was done via the factory harness. I'm not sure on the remote start, however. Thanks for the input.
