If you're going to do something to it. Blow it up with some fireworks. And be sure to take video of it.

Boy, explosions are cool.

I just got this email from an Infinity Tech. I'm so excited!

Hi Dan,

The Basslink is actually repaired on a component level. The
purchase of an amp assembly would most likely cost you about as much if
not more than you paid for the unit. I would like to help out with this
and offer to pay for any needed parts to repair your Basslink. Our
recommended service center is located in Virginia Beach, VA. I would
even offer to pay for shipping to the service center. I would only ask
that you pay the service center for their time to repair the unit for
you. If that is OK, then please email back with your shipping address,
the purchase date and your daytime telephone # for my paperwork and I
will arrange this for you as a one time courtesy.
I am unbelievably happy right now. that just made my day! I sent them the picture of the fried board and I'm guessing they had to talk it over with someone higher up because it took them 2 days to reply after that. I guess they saw that it wasn't anything I did and the board was defective. !! Sweeet.

I would NEVER EVER EVER reccomend that infinity product to anyone since it is a $20 speaker and a $50 amp in a plastic case with a very sloppy curve. But then again I am the one who would spend $400 on a SQ speaker alone and the same on an amp, from a company that does not have one retail store and 4 or 5 employees.

Truth is I have run Infinity components and coaxes in all of my cars except my current which I am keeping stock for the time being.

Their customer service and warranty is very good for an audio manufacturer. Most would not do what they did in your situation by purchasing the products via an Internet retailier.

For the most part, that was pretty cool. Although, I was hoping to see an explosion.

yah infinity is good at backing their stuff up, if you buy the perfects they give you a 3 year warrenty which is a really long time for a speaker.
