I got an idea......

Default I got an idea......

I am planning on putting a 5" monitor where my CD player goes. Then run it to the PS2/DVD player whatever. I need to find somewhere to run my pioneer 6400 from. I've thought of a hundred places but none really seem appealing because I need the remote to reach it. Does anyone have an idea of where I could put the deck and still have it pick up the remote signal?

You could mount it in a modified dash glove box... thats the only good place I can think unless you want to make a new center console.

why not just cut a hole right under your stock radio hole. there is nothing behind there and its a great placement, if you are handy

Not to keep you from your monitor location but how about the lcd off to the side? That way you can keep the stock cd location?

you could just put the monitor under where the cd player goes.

Yes but I want it to be visible from the back and the shifter gets in the way.

you could fiberglass an overhead enclosure by where the fog lamp switches are.
