well since your sub (from what I can make out) is dual 2 ohm voice coils

IF you amp is NOT 1 ohm stable then you will need to wire them like this:


IF you amp IS 1 ohm stable you can wire them like this :



unless I am mistaken and your sub is the dual 4 ohm version

You will more than likely have to wire your sub like this



But your amp will not be pushing 200W in 4 Ohm load. It will be pushing half that which would be 100 W max.

To get the most out of your setup, you would either need to buy another sub so you can wire it to 2 Ohm or buy another amp that is 1 Ohm stable.

Alright. I'm not worried about it not being loud enough for me...I'm sure it will be plenty. However I have heard that you can damage subs by under powering them. I am not underpowering it enough to cause any harm am I? I just want to make sure...

I've never heard of damaging them by underpowering them. You could always call the sub company and ask

theres a hole by the trunk light toward the very back. grind the paint down and put a bolt in there.

i used the same ground the power antenna used... worked fine

Wouldn't that make the wire hard to hide since it is so high up?

I grounded mine to the same flange that the antenna is mounted to. Its a pinch in the metal that goes over the wheel well.

Any decent thickness metal should be fine, just make sure there is nothing behind it that you could damage if you drill a pilot hole and make sure to clean (sand) the area free of all paint/rust/other.

Attempt to make your ground wire about 2 feet. A little longer wont hurt, but dont leave a spool in your trunk. That is just asking for interference.
