how do i install aftermarket stereo - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

ive seen em done ive never done one. Google it. and im sure the aftermarket wiring harness makes everything simplier than it looks.. Im quessing u cut the wires going to the tape deck as they are not needed and just worry about the wires going to the "radio" its self. Shouldnt be much differant than a normal radio

But new radio, buy wiring harness. Plug harness into OEM plug, match wire colors to aftermarket radio. Mount radio, reinstall trim stuff. Enjoy radio.

Your RADIO is in the trunk? I think you mean your CD changer.

Take pics, that will help. I've never seen behind a radio of a 93.
