Default how do i install aftermarket stereo

in my 93 silverado i cant figure it out i have the radio part by the guages and the tape player in the center but the radion quit working i know the cd deck(aftermarket)has to go where the tape deck is but i took it all apart and all the wires just run straight into each thing and there are no plugs or anything so does anybody know how i do this any help would be greatly appreciated

ive seen em done ive never done one. Google it. and im sure the aftermarket wiring harness makes everything simplier than it looks.. Im quessing u cut the wires going to the tape deck as they are not needed and just worry about the wires going to the "radio" its self. Shouldnt be much differant than a normal radio

But new radio, buy wiring harness. Plug harness into OEM plug, match wire colors to aftermarket radio. Mount radio, reinstall trim stuff. Enjoy radio.

Hmmmm I think mine is hard wired in.. My factory radio is still in the truck. but not operational

no no no its not like that guys there is no plug to any thing it is just a bundle of wires running in what i think i have to do is get a plug in from another vehicle splice it in then color match and plug in
