How do I get the door panels off to exchange speakers??? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Default How do I get the door panels off to exchange speakers???

I am going to buy new speakers soon and I need to get the door panels off so I can change them. I have tried to get them off before but was unsuccessful . Just wondering if anyone has advice on the easiest way to get them off.

I got a set of Alpine 6x9'* in the rear deck and Kappa components in the front. I am happy with both.

Type R fronts were my original choice from the shop, but went with a more expensive Kappa when the Type R'* were not in stock. (didn't feel like waiting to get them )
