Default how big hole?

I have a 92 SE, with 4X6 plated infront doors,they suck replaced them they suck. Has anybody cut arounf the hole and installed 6 1/2 in there place, I am some what experianced with fiber glass and can do it I am just seeing and looking for some ideas/help here, and it almost a last resort to do it, but want clear music. Mike


Also I have one 12 which will be getting 1500-2000 watts no problems , so I am after clear spund of front not mainly bass from doors.

you want a easy fix....

go to the junkyard and get the lower part of the door panels that have the the 5.25'* and the tweeters from the factory....that part screws into the door panel....Poof, you got better speakers

When I replaced the plates I thought of that, I did not see it that easy, but I have been wrong, anyone done this...?
