my friend has one of those in his V6 camaro with 2 12 inch fosgate speakers. that this was sooooo loud it would make it hard to breath when ur in the back seat.

nice find...


I would take two Orion HCCA amps over those though... The Ultimate cheater amp 50 x 2 but drop it to 1/2 an ohm and watch out...


also back in that time frame you also had american made Hifonics which would crush any Fosgate.

Also Phoenix Gold stuff was uber expensive back then

Linear Power, American Made Earthquake, man o man those were the good old days


but the holy grail and will always be in my eyes is the PPI Art Series amps. Nothing can ever come close to those.. did there rated power at 8-14v didnt matter.. Under rated to say the least and just clean as hell... Nothing will ever beat it. To bad PPI went to hell just like every other amp company from back then.

First highend system I ever heard had 2 of the power series amps in a Honda Accord. So F'N loud,that when I got out of the car it felt like my teeth were LOOSE!!!!!!!!!

(the hell with a low power install)

Anyone for Donations?????????

RF is only good if you dig deep and buy the Top end Power series stuff, not the crap you get at Best Buy. im not that old and even i remember when RF was the stuff to have. now most of its just mediocre

Even there top end is mediocre at best.. Hate to say it but rockfords hey day was back in the late 80s early 90s..
