most of what they wrote is correct, but I do disagree with the one statement that you can get more light output and a better pattern with halogen. I've looked at a LOT of projectors, and would have to say that that is NOT true.

anywho, here is an example of how crappy your HL could look with a HID kit and no projectors.

For 50 bucks I think I'll snag the kit, and just hang on to it until I find someone who can fabricate the projectors. If worse comes to worse, I'll sell the kit for triple that to a ricer.

Seth'* HID kit has the stock housings and is not that bad....there have been more than one member running HID kits in the stock Bonneville HL'* with out problems

have you seen their beam patterns?? they are nastly looking. One hot spot with a bunch of glare around it...definately not the way HL are supposed to be.

Well.. in looking for other options:

I was looking at a set of PIAA halogen bulbs. They offer a 1 year warranty on them. What are thoughts on those?

PIAA makes some awsome bulbs.

Rob...untill you have seen Seth'* car in person (which i have) and observed the way that the HID'* act in the Bonneville housings dont use the generalities of the 'HID'* in stock lights wont work' and Seth'* do have a sharp cutoff...not blinding to other drivers at all.....i know i drove behind him for a while at the MN Meet
