I think that Lanzar sub could get louder than your Fi sub, but as mentioned before, the Fi would probably be more accurate.
Not that it should matter. Anyone who sits there arguing about who'* sub is "better" obviously has nothing better to do.

lol, no. Just saying, if you're happy with your sub and how much you paid for it, there'* no reason telling someone that its better than theirs. There will always be someone out there with a better sound system than ours. Someone who has more money or worse priorities than you do. I know of people who drive a $60k Mercedes yet live in a shack. If you're happy with what you have and it sounds great, then that'* all that matters.
In my case, I wasn't happy with what I had. I would listen to my 15" Hifonics sub in the car, then get home, turn on my home theater downstairs with a single 10" sub, and I would be in audio heaven by comparison. I got to the point where I dreaded listening to music in my car simply because the actual sound quality of that sub listening to anything but rap/hip hop was aweful. It had nothing to do with anyone else'* sound system, I just wasn't happy with it.
Will my two ID subs sound better than your Fi sub? You bet. Will they be as loud? Hell no, but that'* not what I'm going for. Does it even matter? Nope.

I had a 12" Fi SSD (older style) with the copper coil option. I had it in a 1.1 cube sealed box on a Sundown SAE 1200D @ 1 ohm (~1500 watts). Too much power for it, especially in a sealed box. I cooked the coil on it.
Now I have a Sundown z15. 1000w RMS sub on a 1200 watt amp and it'* much much louder, probably mainly because it'* in a ported box. 3 cubes @ 35 hz.
That'* why I said it wasn't a totally fair comparison. If and when I re-cone the SSD I'll probably stick it in a ported box and see how it sounds. I doubt it'll sound as nice as my Sundown, though. That sub is loud, but still so accurate and clean.

And I've heard lot'* of good things about DC Audio amps, my boy used to have a DC 3k and he raved about that thing, said it'* the best amp he'* ever owned and that dude goes through car audio gear like we do underwear. That'* the one piece of equipment he regrets getting rid of, and he HATES DC Audio. They're coming out with a 2.5k next month, and a 4ch and some higher powered amps too. I'm gonna see what'* up with that 2.5k, if it'* reasonable I think i'm gonna have to ****** one up.
