UPDATE:
I decided that I am going to get a 12w6v2 instead of the 15w6 as I can no longer find it for sale... I plan on buying it as soon as funds are available..
I take donations....

The 12w6v2 is a very nice sub, I had one for a while off a JL 500/1 and sounded way clearer (better SQ) than my 2 10w3s off same amp. But for me there wasn't enough "Thump" compared to having 2 subs firing, more surface area pushes more air. That lasted 4-5 months till I sold my aurora than got my ssei and started over. Had to take advantage of store credit.
That w6v2 is very nice though, if you don't have a sub now, you will be amazed at how accurate it is. very clean sound. you will enjoy.

Thanks Taylor! How much, if any, Dynamat did you use with the 12w6v2? I think I am going to order a bulk pack for when I take it up to get installed....

Let me think, I only had Dynamat on the rear deck and front doors on the Aurora. Trunk didn't rattle at all, probably because my sub(*) were facing the back seat, and teh 12w6v2 was right behind the rear pass through.
Very good idea to get things dynomated up, save some for the front doors, the sound will be much quietier even with the readio off. Well worth it to do the front doors in any vehicle.
