HELP!!! Audio Question!!! - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Did the 92 come with a Bose system? If not, then you don't have an amp anywhere. If your speakers are stock I am betting they are shot. At what volume did the crackling occur?

accually if you have the GAIN switch below the HU you also have a amp. you wont have GAIN if you have a SE. i believe only SSE/SSEi had it.
