Default HELP!!! Audio Question!!!

Ok, well anyway, I had this Pioneer stereo installed in my bonni it was fine for a week then all of a sudden I would have a crackling noise that would just **** up my jamming... anyway I just wanted to know if 92 Bonnevilles have a stock amp in them because I think that might be the problem, anyone who can help thanks in advance....

Did the 92 come with a Bose system? If not, then you don't have an amp anywhere. If your speakers are stock I am betting they are shot. At what volume did the crackling occur?

accually if you have the GAIN switch below the HU you also have a amp. you wont have GAIN if you have a SE. i believe only SSE/SSEi had it.

Natve please post what trim level you have, the 93 didnt come with Bose but the delco Permiun had a amp with the Gain slider below the radio

Yes, it had that gain switch at the bottom, It is a sse.... and again thanks for everyone who helps It usally comes on after a couple minutes of use, the level of volume wont matter because it still happens even when I keep it really low...
