Default Hello again, another question, this time about keyless entry

Hello all, my last post I told everyone my plight. Someone t-boned my '98 Bonneville, it'* totalled so I bought a '99 SE model for only a little bit more money, which I will pickup Thursday. It'* a beauty and I'll provide pictures of both my old and new next week.

Anyways, I found out that '99 Bonneville SE doesn't have the keyless entry option. My question to you all is: How can I add this option to the car if at all? Is it as simple a matter as buying the remote or will I have to take it to a dealership and pay hundreds of dollars to add it on?

Thanks in advance.

You could do an aftermarket system for pretty cheap also.

Well I still have my old 98 bonneville, do you think I could take the keyless entry receiver and controls from that car and put it in my new 99 Bonneville? Or would I have a reroute new wiring and stuff to the doors and trunk?

I'm fairly sure. When he gave me the keys to test drive the car it didn't have the remote units on it, and the 99 SE only had keyless entry as an option.
