Default Is This Hella Dumb?

So i thought it might be kinda cool to keep the look of the 88 original dash and hide a head unit under the front seat and be able to keep the old one in working order. I am not sure if that was possible. The car is in such great condition and all original that it is hard to think of changing her. thanks

Make it happen. Just get a head unit with a remote to make everything easier

Sure you can do that. You could also tap into the wires and use a choke so you don't back feed on either system. That way you could use both at one time or another.

The point would be to have both in working order. I was thinking a remote would be the easiest way. HMM I didn't see anything in the read first guide in this section on using chokes. The only chokes I know how to use are for my shot gun ha ha I will look something up thanks
