Default Headrests?

i am ordering some aftermarket headrest monitors, and they replace the old headrests. but i cant figure out how to get my old headrest out. can anybody tell me how to get them out or what to do? by the way i have a 93 SLE. thank you

There is a special tool that with the headrest up almost all the way you slide down the headrest posts. It keeps the lock from being able to engage and out slide the headrests.

Or you can open the back of your seat and gently hold the levers out while someone else pulls up. (it'* not a tough thing, time an patience)

its not an easy job with out the tool...it took 3 highly experienced Bonne owners to remove the heardest on my spare seat

Only one to pop the headrest at the junkyard...and Pat...you don't qualify as experienced...we saw how you take an interior apart. We didn't have weeks.

Bill the Junkyard was an AL7 not as easy to get a regular seat....not experiecend....meh you wish
