Default Headlight Mod Question

Is anyone aware of a mod to the headlights where as you install some sort of balast and change the headlight bulbs to make the low beams a sort of blue colour and much brighter? I believe the brand is Hella. Does anyone have the cost and time associated with the mod.

This has to do with a Mod Mick is attempting.

ya there are a few options

1. you can do a Projector....this requires MAJOR modification, and will not work well with your headlights because of the glass design

2. Install Sylvania Silverstar Bulbs. these are a great option. I recently just uipgraded my low beams from the 9006 to the 9005 for the low beams....

Thanks for the reply 1993SLE but this question is specific to the Hella Ballast type blue bulb mod. As it stands now he has installed them with my permision. My question now is, does anyone else have that mod do I can compare notes?

I've been flashed by other drivers only once so far.. but my visibility is not bad at all. I still have the Hi-beams so I can always use them if I REALLY need it.
