Head Unit Wiring HELP!!!!!!!!!! - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Yeah it is...

it is tied into the lighting. When the lights auto turn on and off it supplies power, also when the headlight are off you must turn on the fog lights to power the wire.

Thanks

So when I put my amp in the car would it be OK to tap into a fuse say for the Windows?

I have heard people say that they are ACC but i haven't checked my 02.

If that is or isnt the case I will find another ACC source. but is it ok to run it to the fuse or do i need to splice into the wire?

Since there is a fuse box under the rear seat I thought that would be the easiest way.

Not sure on the difference.

Also does anyone know how I can make the cigar lighter go on and off with the ca?
I believe I quoted a person on a previos page about this..

Thanks

Also I did get a capacitor just to take some of the load off.
