Default Got my subs in!!!

Got my subs in finally. It was somewhat of a pain. Got 2 Eclipse 10'* hooked up to 2 400 watt mono amps by profile. They are very loud.

Don't you just love the tightness of the 10'*, who says 10'* can't be loud?

yea, I just got my amp installed last night... I got 2 MTX subs and a 300 watt jenson (it was cheap.. I needed an amp ).. the jenson actually surprised me at how well its kicking..

no cam and it looks oogly anyway

my subs:

my box: http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.js...rk_0&oid=69719

my cheap amp:

you can see by the price its cheap... but for $50, it was definately worth it... I'll get a better amp some time down the road..

Man, I just did some minor adjustments to the amps, and the sound is even better. I had the amps gain and bass boost turned up about all the way before, now I turned it down a bit, and with the factory speakers on the car, the bass blends great ( not overpowering like before). The entire setup cost me $200.

- amps were $60 a piece
- subs and box were $50 from a friend
- wiring kit (4 gauge) was $25 and included rca'* power, and distribution blocks.

Both, the equalizer on the factory system really helps to adjust the bass exactly how I want it.
