Default GM wire harness and antenna adapter

I was at WalMart for some Mobil 1 last week, and saw they have the GM wire harness for $8, and it comes WITH the antenna adapter. I want to install my HU this upcoming weekend and was wondering if these are any different from ones I'd get from Best Buy or similar store. I remember spending about $20 for both at Best Buy once. But I'll spend $8 if there'* no difference!

I also saw two different harnesses that said they work with GM 1994, but they looked different. Anyone gotten their harness/adapter from WallyWorld?

i bought 2 harnesses from walmart, so i could pull one wire out of one harness and add it to the other harness so i would have a wire for steering wheel input so i wouldn't have to splice that wire...........the harness works fine, my system sounds great with pioneer hu and the walmart harness.....i also used the antenna adapter that came with it for a while, but when crutchfield sent me one for free, i just threw that one in since it wasn't just a right angle thing.....but yes the walmart one will work fine.....bestbuy is way overpriced for those adapters

I have the exact harness you're talking about. It works just fine. Hint, too, when you go to wire it up, cut the wires shorter than they are and split them yourself. It will fit in the dash much better.

Sweet! I love saving money! They had 2 different harnesses but both said they worked for GM 94. Actually, one said 88-94, and the other said 94 and up. I think I'll go with the "94 and up" one. Should be right.

Thanks!

You added a wire and you can use the steering wheel controls...you didn't need the PAC-SWI thing?
