Getting a new system this weekend! what do you think? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Man, I was all excited and impressed by the whole setup, till I saw the speakers.

You can't have SQ with speakers like those man. That'* like putting 10" wide racing slicks on an old Geo Metro. Don't even waste your money on those things.

I was talking about the 6x9'* and 4x3'*, hence why I called them speakers, not sub(*).

Sorry, Gotcha.. I was apprehensive about them also, but then i read all the reviews. They state that they are crystal clear with no distortion even at max volume, pair that with a high sensitivity (92) they will sound good on either the HU or the 6 channel amp, and wont get drowned out by bass so ill give em a try. And cant beat the price.

I can guarantee you that they will be a far cry away from what my Polk Audio stereo speakers sound like, and if you're serious about SQ, you're not going to get bargain low level stereo speakers. I'd save the money if I were you. But that'* me.
