Just upgrading speakers doesn't do much without an amp behind them.

IMO, audiobahn sucks too, more than RF. But if you are happy with it, that is all that matters. Although I would be interested in seeing an RMS meter put on the outputs of your audiobahn just to see how much it is truely putting out.

I agree with Pat, a cap is only a band aid and is not the proper way to fix a weak electrical system.

Stock speakers are crap compared to a good set of aftermarket. I stopped listening to the radio after I upgraded because at that point the poor sound quality of FM radio really started to show itself.

I WILL be upgrading my speakers. They are not blown, but they are not that great IMO. My other car has some pretty impressive stock speakers that sound much better, so only in comparison are they fairly weak. And they definitely will not compare to a good set of aftermarkets. Installing them isn't a problem.

I had a set of Pioneer 4-way TS-A6980R (or something like that) 6x9s that sounded amazing, with a Pioneer DEH-P7600 HU. I didn't have an external amp powering them, but they sounded more than good enough without one.

i'm not saying you shouldn't upgrade your speakers, i'm just saying i didnt and my system sounds nice and clean. if you do have the extra money then ya it would be a good idea to upgrade them. and alternators are expensive!!!!yikes, i just went with a cap. either way i'm sure your system will be fatty!

So should I correct your grammar? It could be taken two ways:

1 Trust Fatty, his system is awsome and lousy as ****.
2 Trust Fatty, his system is awsome and loud as ****.

Either way, loudness isn't everything.
