Default fog light wattage

so i am the high bidder on these
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=230194081296
they were both burned out when i got them. so these are the 37.5 watt ones. for a couple bucks more, i can get the 55w bulbs. would this be too much for the wiring? i even see 100w models, but that is even brighter than my headlights.
anyone know what the stock bulbs on a 95 SSE are?

i may have put this in the wrong section

I would be more worried about slagging the stock foglight assemblies before overloading the wires.

You would do wise to instead invest in new, metal and glass assemblies. And if you are worried about the stock wiring, just put a relay on the end of the one of the bulb sockets, and have it control your new wires and power source.

I had 55 watts silver stars in mine, now have some 65 watt blue one and they are great would not go any higher the cases from the 55 watt had signs of getting hot, I added some safety measure with these but still check them a lot.
