Nice Rich. Gauge can be so hard to determine even having it your hand let alone a pic. And some manufacturers feed on that. A nice thick translucent insulation can make wire look alot fatter than it is.

Woohoo! Now I have 3 DD'* at home!
Finally got my DD 2512 and man this thing looks serious. The cone is super stiff, high roll surround looks massive, the basket is sexy.....I can't wait to get this thing making some noise. But unfortunately, I have to. I need to replace my head unit due to a blown pico fuse, don't want to rig it up and not gonna open it up so it'* gotta go. I think i'm gonna get the Alpine CDA-117 and run it passive for now, then save up and get the Imprint system for it so I can run active again. I just need tunes man so as soon as I get the deck, it'* on!
Don't over power it, And don't beat the **** out of it right off the bat... Give it lots of air and it will treat you with lots of thump !!!
I set an Escalade on fire with 6 of those lol
The DD Amps are not the greatest

Well, after talking to one of my boys who is a DD dealer in Central Cali I decided on a box design for my 2512

Anybody have any ideas/suggestions on that?
