Unhappy fastest and cheapest method for AUX in 97 bonn?

I want to have AUX or an FM modulator that is hardwired because these tuners just don't cut it. I always get static.

What is the fastest and cheapest method to add AUX? If I buy a hardwired FM modulator, where do I plug it in for the 97 SE and how difficult is that to get to?

Is it more cost effective to install an aftermarket reciever? If so what is the msot compatible one that requires less splicing and wiring. I just don't have the time to spend for a lengthy install.

Thanks
