Default Factory amp/aftermarket HU

Do I need to bypass the factory rear amp if I install an aftermarket HU?

i believe that you need to use the factory amp so you get sound out of the speakers, with an Aftermarket system

Go to Best Buys Install Bay or another stereo shop and buy the harness plug for around $20. Do not cut off the factory plug.

All you need to do is buy the wiring harness for your car and wire it up to the factory wiring. You would only bypass the factory amp if your installing an aftermarket amp for your front and rears. Other than that just wire it up and you should be all set.
