Question Emergency Services?

Any emergency workers in the forum? I've been stalking the forums for awhile now and just thought I'd ask the question I've been wondering. I've got a 2004 Bonneville I use for fire department calls and I think it would also make a great police vehicle if they still made them. I hope to post pictures soon.

Thanks
Brian

Oh I forgot to add since this is in the electronics section I'm posting this due to light bars, uhf/vhf radios, and assorted emergency equipment.

Ive been a Paramedic for 27 years...Both ground and air...we use a variety of vehicles as supervisor response units...Ford Crown Vic (police package) Chev Impala (police package) Chev Full size van..(POS) Ford Expedition...of all the ones Ive used...the crown vic still rules....The chev van is junk and the impala is way to small...the expedition is a good unit as well....just my opinion....however when I really wanna rock....sikorsky S76...FTW...

I always thought that a full size wagon would work well too? I have seen a few vehicles in cinci: charger, mustang, explorer... a gxp would be pretty sweet though. I'd rather be hauled off to jail in nothing less...

I've been in emergency services for 33 years and have driven many different vehicles and apparatus. I have never seen a Pontiac in use in support of fire or law enforcement agencies in all those years. Lot'* of GM, Ford and Dodges though.

The best patrol car I ever drove was the 1979 Malibu with the 9C1 police package - heavy sway bars, 350, tranny cooler, etc. The car was hot! The worst patrol car was the 1988 Dodge Diplomat with police package....the 318 was okay and the transmission was strong, but the sway package and suspension was mushy. My partner rolled one at 30 mph on a curve...they do hold up well while on their roof.

The vehicle is not used for transporting at all. It'* a quick attack type vehicle. I store bunker gear, air pack extra bottles and all ems gear that our 2009 f-550 can all in the trunk and it'* a daily driver with hidden strobes etc. It'* not a department car it'* my pov.

I can't resist saying it but the dodge charger police cars are the coolest police car i've ever seen. Are they SRT8'*?

Also, the most undercover one I've ever seen was a mazda something lol it was so unexpected when it pulled over the guy in front of me.
