One of my buddies has that setup in his cherokee. I haven't had the chance to listen to it though. If you like how they sound and you can find them at a decent price, go for it.

I had (well have, it just ain't in a car) a DUAL head unit. Not a bad brand, for what they are intended for. BUDGET. You won't win any contests with them, but as long as you remember thier limitations, they will probably work.

You should have a Best Buy close enough to you to give 'em a test drive.

Yes i have a best buy close to me, within a few miles, and when i listened to them there they sounded horrible. But then a friend at school got them in her G.C (grand cherokee) and they realy pumped pretty hard. I just figured i'd ask other people that had them in their vehicles.

IF your gunna get something inexpensive like that, then your local best buy would probly be the best place to do it. dont worry too much about saving 5 bux on the speakers but spending 10 more on shipping and getting them a week later without being able to hear them first

That'* a bandbass box = LOUD, but slow in response and hard to tune (but possible)

Compare that to a single 12" Rockford, and in SQ (maybe SPL) you'll pick the RF everytime.
