Destroyed Rear Speaker, need advice - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

not sure how to take that.

Anyway, I got it fixed. I picked up some $25 cheapies from Target (450 watts) and holy * H I T. I had it set prior to the installation to the point where I could get some vibrations.

After the installation, I nearly went deaf...oh wait, I am already deaf, maybe I should say that my dad went nearly deaf...

I am one of the "other members" that bought the Wallyworld Lightning Audio speakers. They are perfect for a replacement set, and seeing as how my rears were out entirely it was a major improvement.

HOWEVER, it has been a year of blasting with my new SONY HU and one of them is going out. I am considering upgrading to Pioneeer'* or Sony'*. If you have a aftermarket HU that puts out any kind of power I suggest spending another $20 and getting something that might last.
