Default dash light bulb covers

You know the little "condom" looking things that slip over the lightbulbs to create a different color? Does anyone know where those can be bought? I've had no luck searching online for them..

Oh wow I couldn't help but laugh my *** off at that. "Condom" looking things!

On topic, I have seen them at autozone, advance auto parts, take a look at some rice sites, you'll have luck. I'm putting red ones in my Cavalier'* dash.

Dan, you could also try spray paint, a light coat of paint might just do it....or dipping them into a can, I'm not sure what would be better.

For the paint idea, if you're going with non-metallic colors, check out a hobby shop, or hobby section of WallyWorld, for the transluscent paints.

problem with paint is that the bulbs are soldered onto circuit boards so I'm not sure how I"d go about painting them. Secondly, longevity would be another concern? I may not even mess with it. It'* just my cd player'* display is red, while the rest of my car is a bluish/green.
