Wassup guys i recently bought a clarion crossover for my sub system and i dont know what to set my freq at can anyone help me how i can get clear sound hard bass and i have a epic center also

tune to your hearts content.. if you are looking for perfect numbers you arent gonna find it... it takes lots of listening time

The thing about audio, especially in a personal car, is that you tune it to what you like.

For example:
Pat (1993SLE) likes bright tweeters
I personally hate the harsher highs, so our systems are tuned completely different.

it is all personal preference.

Do what sounds good to you.

Is the crossover for your subs only? If so, then Ide set it at between 50 and 120 hz. just play with it until you like it, dont set it too high because it causes a lot of buzzing sounds and itll just hurt your sound. Do you have full range speakers as well? The crossover settings really depend on how your system is set up.

You need to find out the frequency range of the speakers you plan on using in the crossover network.Once you find that information out, adjust your crossover to run in those certain frequencies.

Let'* say your tweeter can play down to 4,000 Hz. Set the crossover'* highpass at 4,000 Hz and up and adjust it to how you like your sound. Adjust the mids until they blend in with your highs, and then for the low end, go as low as you like it. Usually between 20-80hz More will usually give you a boomy sound. Try it out and see where you like your sound.
