Default Crazy Box From Hell finally done pics inside... UPDATED

Anyways this is only my second box and let me tell you.. For a novice to try this kind of box with little to no tools was stupid :p

I was bored one day and was looking at this box design from elemental designs. It was initially for a single 12 tuned to 27 hz.. Out of boredom I fired up WinISD and loaded my subs specs and used the speakers volume and port dimensions and it yielded a very flat curve thru out my desired freq response.

Anyways after about 6 hours from start to finish this box rocks.

Here is the specs

And here is my finished product..

I wish I took pictures when I was building cause for me, out of a scale of 1 to 10 this box was a 12 Anyways hindsight is 50/50

For those of us who don't know a damn thing. Please elaborate on what the "Deathbox" is.

yeah the bass clearly distorts the cameras microphone..

It hits hard as hell, flexes my trunk lid

not to shabby for one little 10" sub and about 400 watts

That has seriously got to be the most insane excursion I've ever seen out of an Alpine. What kind of distortion was it throwing at that volume?

None....

I swear to god it was playing hard but there was no clipping or distortion..
Most people are afraid to push there subs.. They back off way before there is even trouble. I have a MA Audio 1889i amp which is rated at 800 watts rms at 2 ohms. I have it at about 1/3 of the way up so roughly we will say about 200-300 going to the sub..

Its working hard but its not in danger.. Now on the other had if I turn it up a little more we may have a problem.. Its about knowing the subs limits..
