Default Crap....

So i was driving to a xmas get together today and i could smell something burning, i turned around real quick and sure enough, a bunch of smoke was pouring into the car threw my blowthrew, so i pulled over and pulled my inline fuse. Amp still works but im gonna try out this Planet Audio VX1400d (1250w rms @ 1 ohm) for a lil while and see how i like it. I also got a few other larger amps. Memphis 16 prd1000.1 (1000w rms), Kenwood eXcelon kac-x1r (1200rms) and a Viper d1200.1 (1200 rms) that needs repaired.
I'll keep u posted

I figured this amp was due for a smokey grand finale. Thats why i didnt sell it. I grounded the amp well but the board was loose (ish) inside the chassis, so i had a feeling the board its self wasnt grounded great. THEN... I pulled the sub, box and amp out (200lbs!), carried it inside attached the VX1400D, carried it back out to the car, put it back in the trunk, then relised i put the amp on backwards so my ground and power wires wouldnt reach the terminals, so i had to pull it back out and reattach it, and since my wires are so short i have to connect them threw my fold down arm rest... which is a real bitch. There is no light so i was doing it by touch, of coarse the terminal is always a little smaller than the gauge of the wire, then cross threaded the ground terminal screw, then put my inline fuse back in (and my hood support struts are bad so i have to hold the hood open with my head while i bolt the fuse back in) and popped all the fuses in the amp. im getting tired of this... im about to sell everything i got
