Default CompuStar Remote Starter

I just bought a 2000 SSEi, and under the hood i saw a sticker that said there was a remote starter installed, but i didnt get any remotes when i bought the car, so i checked under the dash and sure enough there is a control module for a CompuStar SHF 2W-* remote starter. I also ended up finding a manual for it in the glove box. Does anyone know if there is any way i can buy a remote so i can use it?

Check out retailers in your area and try and find one that sells Compustar or contact them directly and ask for some authorized dealers in your area.

Good Luck,
Dutch

Hi, i have that same model in my truck, my worked fine until this year, and i found the problem on the circuit board which is under the dash. i also tried to find more remotes but havent had any luck. I currently have one remote. but let me know if you would want to work something out since in the end one of our systems could work.
Thanks, Jared

I used to install CompuStar units back in the day, and the 1 thing I remember about them was never getting remotes to program.

Id like to say this is your manual but i dont think so

http://www.compustar.com/ownerscorne...2WR_manual.pdf

just go to compustar.com go to contact?
