NO, the clipping is comng from a poor signal coming from the head unit. when you replace the head unit you will be sending a cleaner signal. In most cases you will also be getting a larger cleaner amplifier. the signal will now be clean and you will no longer be clipping. the problem now will be that you can make the speakers pop because you will be over powering them with the new radio. this is why you will want to buy new speakers. then you will want a sub and it will be louder then you highs and mids then you will get a amp. and it goes on and on and on and on.......................
